Migrating AP Software from 32-bit to 64-bit ARM for WiFi 7
This project focuses on migrating an enterprise Access Point (AP) software stack and its applications from a 32-bit ARM architecture used in a legacy SoC vendor’s SDK to the required 64-bit AARCH64 architecture in a new SoC vendor’s SDK. The migration involves moving thousands of modifications in common and custom applications, open-source and proprietary drivers, and custom drivers to the new 64-bit platform. The primary reason for this transition is to enhance memory space and performance, making it compatible with the new WiFi 7 SoC SDK. Our team specializes in identifying, porting, and resolving the complex issues associated with such migrations, ensuring the successful implementation of the customer’s future solutions.
