Seamless Integration of EV Charging Station Payment Systems

This project integrated an EV charging station payment system with a customer’s existing AWS IoT payment platform. Due to evolving EU regulations, EV charging stations are now required to support payments via mobile apps and local payment terminals. Many existing stations, which relied solely on mobile apps and QR codes, needed to integrate their payment APIs with on-site terminals. Our work involved connecting a third-party payment API with the customer’s AWS IoT cloud, enabling seamless management of payment transactions. This integration supports payment processing at charging station terminals, ensuring regulatory compliance and unlocking new revenue opportunities for our customer. Our solution enhances the functionality and compliance of EV charging stations across the EU.
